Description: Australian Antarctic Division Voyages 1 and 1.1 1991-92 (WOCE91) were carried out by the Aurora Australis. This was the first WOCE SR3 transect from Tasmania to Dibble Ice Tongue and return. V1 went from Macquarie Island but returned owing to equipment failure. V1.1 is the SR3 leg from north to south and return on the same transect to pick up any missing CTD stations. Underway and CTD data were collected during the voyage. The principal scientific data from this cruise are held by the Australian Antarctic Division at Kingston, Tasmania.
