Students

The Bio-logging 4 steering committee would like to encourage students to present either oral or poster presentations at Bio-logging 4 and are pleased to announce that for the first time, student prizes and a number of travel subsidies for eligible students will be offered at Bio-logging 4!

Eligibility

Student Prizes

Students must submit a student prize application form with their abstracts in order to be eligible for a student prize. This will enable the organising committee for Bio-logging 4 to organise judges to be in the session in which students are presenting.

Late applications will not be considered.

Travel subsidies

A number of travel subsidies valued at AU $1,000 for international students and AU $500 for Australian students will be offered to students attending Bio-logging 4. Students must submit a student travel subsidy application form with their abstracts in order to be eligible for travel subsidies. Please ensure that all components of the form are filled out and it has been signed by your supervisor.

Please note that travel subsidies will not be paid to recipients of other grants awarded for travel to Bio-logging 4 (e.g. University travel grants, project funding in which travel has been specified as a component of the funds awarded).

Travel subsidies will be paid within four weeks of the conference to a nominated bank account (banking details must be provided).

Late applications will not be considered.
