Taxon Notes: | Iwatsuki et al 2010 described Acanthopagrus pacificus from the western Pacific. In Australia, it is known from Darwin (NT, c. 130 48 E) eastwards to Port Clinton (Qld, c. 22 33 S). In Australia it was formerly known as Acanthopagrus berda (Forsskål, 1775), which is now confirmed from most of the Indian Ocean (excluding Australia). | ||||||
