Taxon Notes:Records of Plectorhinchus chubbi in Australia (including at least one WA specimen) are misidentifications of Plectorhinchus unicolor (Jeff Johnson, pers. comm. 12 Aug 2015). The true Plectorhinchus chubbi has only been confirmed from the Western Indian Ocean (Johnson & Wilmer 2015).
