Taxon Notes:	Updated from Uranoscopus sp. 1 [of Kishimoto, 2001] after reidentification of voucher and other specimens in CSIRO collection. In Australia, confirmed from N of Monte Bello Islands (19 38 S, 115 27 E) southwards to off NW Cape (21 42 S, 113 56 E), WA. Fricke (2018 ) described the species from the holotype collected in Papua New Guinea in 300-308 m.
