Expected species depth range is from 9 to 30 m.
Taxon Notes:Described from specimens collected in Bali, Indonesia, but photographic records from Sumba, Indonesia, Cebu, Philippines, and Queensland. The only confirmed Australian record is from Carpentaria Reef (c. 17 06 S, 139 27 E), Wellesely Island group, Gulf of Carpentaria (Allen et al 2024; iNaturalist). Recorded from 9-30m depth. Possibly also occurs on the North West Shelf region of WA.
