Expected species depth range is from 0 to 1 m.
Taxon Notes:Added after records in AFD & Larson & Hammer (2021) from Palm Cove Creek, north of Cairns, Qld. Shallow estuarine to freshwater, found in estuaries of rivers, streams and mangroves. The Palm Cove specimens came from a flowing freshwater creek with pebble and cobble substrate (Larson & Hammer 2021).
