Expected species depth range is from 0 to 1 m.
Taxon Notes:Added based on records from Darwin area and Maningrida, NT (AFD online, accessed 19 July 2017). Found in mangrove habitats, in shallow tidal areas. Often sympatric with P. poicilosoma, and sometimes with P. avicennia and P. verticalis (Larson & Hammer 2021).
