Taxon Notes:Winterbottom (2016) split Trimma tevagae into multiple species; the true T. tevegae is known from Philippines to Solomons, excl. Australia. Trimma hollemani is definitely known only from Raja Ampat, Halmahera and Rabaul. The presence of this species at the Philippines, Sabah, Sulawesi and on the GBR, Qld needs confirmation, preferably by genetic analysis (Winterbottom, 2016). Qld records are from Ashmore Reef (10 16 S, 144 28 E) south to One Tree I. in 18-60m depth.
