Taxon Notes:	Known from eastern and Western Australia (Greenfield & Randall 2010; Allen & Erdmann 2012). Eviota albolineata and Eviota rubrisparsa have previously been confused with this species. Eviota albolineata is restricted to central Oceania, while Eviota rubrisparsa (37 428421) is only known in Australia from Christmas Island.
