Taxon Notes:Known from the Houtman Abrolhos islands (c. 28 30 S, 113 45 E) north to the Dampier Archipelago (20 28 S, 116 32 E), Western Australia. Inhabits rubble zones with prominent kelp and other macroalgae growth at depths ranging from 3–25 m (Tea et al 2020).
