Taxon Notes:	Updated from Microcanthus strigatus (now coded as 37 361028) after Tea and Gill's reassessment of the genus. Microcanthus joyceae is known from southern Queensland to southern New South Wales, Lord Howe Island, Norfolk Island and also occurs in New Caledonia (Tea & Gill 2020).
