Taxon Notes:	Iwatsuki (2013) described Acanthopagrus morrisoni from north-western Australia (Shark Bay region northwards to at least Broome in WA, and eastwards to at least Darwin, NT). In Australia it was formerly known as Acanthopagrus latus (Houttuyn, 1782), which is now restricted to the East Asian Shelf (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China and Vietnam).
