| Taxon Notes: | Currently known from the western Pacific Ocean, including Japan, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Australia, Fiji and the Marshall Islands in depths of 3–32 m. In Australia, confirmed from Cartier Island, Indian Ocean (12°31′S, 123°23′E), and the Great Barrier Reef from Escape Reef (15°50′S) to One Tree Island (24°30′S). This species is similar to Rhabdamia gracilis and Rhabdamia spilota, both of which also occur in Australia (Yoshida & Motomura 2018; Yoshida et al 2018). The distributions of all Australian Rhabdamia species need further refinement. |
