| Taxon Notes: | This code was non-active for a time as the specimen it was created for was missing. That specimen has since been listed by Iwamoto & Williams (1999) as belonging to Caelorinchus acutirostris so this code was resurrected on 5/7/00. | ||||||
| Scientific Name Notes: | This genus has been spelled Caelorinchus by many authors following Sazonov and Iwamoto (1992), however the previous spelling Coelorinchus is now considered to be the correct one (T. Iwamoto, in press 2008) | ||||||
