Taxon Notes:	Known from coastal south-eastern mainland Australia, from the upper Barwon R system near Barwon Downs, Victoria, west to the Cortina Lakes, near the Coorong, South Australia. Its current known range does not overlap that of its sister species Galaxiella pusilla (Coleman et al 2015).
