Taxon Notes:Poulsen et al 2016 resurrected genus Monacoa, describing M. griseus & M. niger. Opisthoproctus grimaldii is restricted to the Atlantic. Australian specimens identified as O. grimaldii are M. griseus and possibly M. niger. As genetic data and/or fresh images of the sole are required for ID, only M. griseus is confirmed from GAB, SA (35 10 S, 130 41 E), but likely widespread in southern Australia.
