Expected species depth range is from 200 to 1560 m.
Taxon Notes:Added based on record from south of Macquarie I, 59 40 S, 158 10 E in species description. Known from 44 to 59 S in Southern Ocean in depths of 200-1560m (catches without a closing of the trawl), including CSIRO specimens from near Macquarie Island.
