Taxon Notes:

This species has previously been recorded in Australia as the New Zealand species Clarkcoma bollonsi, but Australian material belongs to a related but different species which will be formally described in the near future. All previous records of C. bollonsi from Australian waters need to be re-examined to determine their true identity.
