Description: Courageous cruise 015 was undertaken to continue to investigate the distribution and gonad condition of jack mackerel in south eastern Australian waters, using pelagic and demersal trawls and acoustic surveys, and to test the CECS-CEIS (Computerised Echo Counting System and Computerised Echo Integration System) to be used for estimating jack mackerel densities. The voyage took place between Sydney-Hobart, from 7 to 20 December 1976.
