Description: Courageous cruise 003 was undertaken to continue a patterned survey for jack mackerel and other pelagic species, using acoustic survey methods and pelagic trawling. The voyage took place off the New South Wales, Victoria and east Tasmania coast between Sydney and Hobart, with sampling from Tathra southwards, from 23 October to 13 November 1975.
