| Comments: | Nephelometer 12 month maintenance including: - Exhaust ball valve cleaning - inlet ball valve was clean, but exhaust ball valve was quite dirty. - Optic cell clean performed - this was quite clean. - Full optical bench clean. A small amount of vac grease was applied to o-rings in optic chamber tubes. - Inspected the exhaust flow DFU - all OK, none replaced. - Batteries were replaced. - Pneumatics were cleaned After reassembly, a leak check was performed - Failed Isolated the external plumbing from the leak test - still failed. Discovered tubing to the pressure sensor was pinched during optic bench reinstallation - test still failed. Found a tube completely disconnected on the output of the zero pump, which means the zero tests for the foreseeable past are crap, but will need to look into the past zeros to verify data quality. This is an inherent problem with the design of these connections. |
