| Comments: | Snow transitioned to broken stratocumulus today. Afternoon had thicker liquid water path clouds sensed by the radar with tops near 1 km. Sky is presently broken with low cumulus/straocu. No sign of any ice precipitation after stratform snow ended this morning. Presently 3 hourly soundings. May scale back to normal operations tonight. TBD. Spent the day in the sea ice near 66 South and 150 East. Whales everywhere. Lost 1.5 hours of UV lidar data this afternoon 03-04 UTC due to mistake - mine. Sorry. Otherwise intruments nominal. Katherine reports promising data from CFDC! | ||
