Snow transitioned to broken stratocumulus today. Afternoon had thicker liquid water path clouds sensed by the radar with tops near 1 km. Sky is presently broken with low cumulus/straocu. No sign of any ice precipitation after stratform snow ended this morning.
Presently 3 hourly soundings. May scale back to normal operations tonight. TBD.
Spent the day in the sea ice near 66 South and 150 East. Whales everywhere.
