| Comments: | Bounary layer clouds dissipated shortly after the beginning of the UTC day on 1 February (local midday on 1 Feb). Since then we have been transitioning the ship eastward along the ice. Winds have remained nearly calm with middle and high level clouds. Noticed 22 degree halos often in cirrus and sundogs near the horizon were seen at sunrise this morning. Instruments seem to be nominal. 6 hourly soundings. | ||
