| Comments: | Progressing nominally. Instruments as before. Overnight passed out from under stratiform rain into more of a shallow cumulus regime with some higher clouds persisting. Winds and seas have been moderate. Currently launching radiosondes at 3 hourly intervals. Noted in summary plots of data from 21& 39;st in the 16-18 UTC range that there were elevated aerosol layers and supercooled liquid water layers. |
