| Rock name: | Highly altered, veined, igneous? breccia in clay matrix |
| Comments: | Mn crust 75 mm thick. Sometimes clast supported othertimes matrix supported - highly altered clasts of microcrystalline material - dark grey in colour and angular suggests volcanic - matrix is full of yellow/brown clay and contains white mica - all surrounded by a thick Mn crust - Mn layers also run throughout the matrix - nice example of all environments from dredge 33 in one rock |
