Rock name: | Trace fossil mudstone |
Comments: | silt. 12 mm Mn crust. Silt-rich mudstone. Contains dwelling structure trace fossils more like simple vertical burrows both altered and fresh surface. Burrow's tubes have a Mn-oxide wall (it probably preserved them). Burrows are filled with clay or foraminifera. There are thin Mn-oxide layers in the mudstone itself (in cracks?) |
