| Comments: | Mn crust 5mm thickness. Sample is a rounded cobble likely transported downslope. The rock is very dense (maybe mafic igneous). Sample is crosscut by think (<<0.5mm) white veins (not calcite) which occasionally also contain pyrite. Around the edge of the rock and along some fractures is ~1cm wide brown staining (likely Fe, Mn). |
