Expected species depth range is from 100 to 253 m.
Taxon Notes:Described from SW of Rowley Shoals (18 38 S, 118 02 E) to NW of Geraldton (27 55 S, 113 08 E), WA in 100-253 m depth. Possibly also occurs in Taiwan but specimens were collected from fish markets within unknown origin (Matsumoto & Motomura 2024).
