Expected species depth range is from 140 to 348 m.
Taxon Notes:Described from specimens collected in the Coral Sea (Australia and Chesterfield Island, New Caledonia) in 140-545 m depth. In Australia, known from CSIRO specimens collected from E of Flinders Reefs (17 32 S, 149 46 E) south to NE of Whitsunday Islands (19 38 S, 150 32 E) and from QM type material collected between Swain Reefs (22°00′S, 153°31′E) and Cape Moreton (26°51′S, 153°36′E), Qld in 140-348 m.
