Added after redescription by Wada et al 2021. In Australia, known from off Port Hedland (18°40ʹ S, 116°42ʹ E) north to off Scott Reefs, WA (14°20ʹS, 122°10ʹE) and from Lihou Reef & Cays, Queensland Plateau, Qld (17°06ʹ S, 150°52' E) south to off Sydney, NSW (33°47ʹ S, 151°49ʹ E) in 187-765m depth.
