Taxon Notes:	Although confused by some authors with Scorpaena onaria, Scorpaena neglecta is confirmed from northwest of Port Hedland, WA (18 16 S, 118 12 E) eastwards to north of Bathurst Island, NT (c. 09 47 S, 130 25 E) and from northeast of Townsville, Qld (18 38 S) southwards to east of Cape Howe, NSW (c. 37 23 S, 150 16 E) in 42-350m depth (Wibowo & Motomura 2019).
