Expected species depth range is from 220 to 416 m.
Taxon Notes:Updated after description. First reported from the western Coral Sea, at depths of 212–494 m (Last et al. 2014). Now confirmed from the Australian continental slope, east of Dunk Island, Queensland (17°59’S, 147°00’E) and southward to the fringes of the Marion Plateau, Queensland (23°13’S, 153°38’E) at 220–416 m depths.
