Taxon Notes:	Pietsch (2009, Oceanic Anglerfishes) identified a CSIRO specimen (from c. 1000m depth off Townsville, Qld) as Bufoceratias thele Uwate, 1979. However in June 2011 (pers. comm.) he noted that the specimen was not typical of that species, hence its listing here as Bufoceratias cf thele.
