Taxon Notes:Added based on records in Ho & Last 2021 Australian Malthopsis revision. In Australia, recorded from Fraser seamount (24°25´S, 155°17´E), Brittania seamount (28°18´29˝S, 155°38´37˝E) and near Middleton Reef, Lord Howe Rise (29°13.09´S, 158°59.85´E) in 298-670 m. Elsewhere known from New Zealand, New Caledonia and near Jarvis Island (central Pacific) as shallow as 183 m.
