Taxon Notes:	Ho & Shao (2008) confirmed the occurrence of this species in Australia. It is known from WA (c. 16 30' N south to c. 29 20' S) in 570-940m.
Scientific Name Notes:	Derivation is apparently from the Greek mikros = small + opos = eye and usually treated as a noun in apposition by authors {AFD, June 2022].
