Taxon Notes:Updated from Halieutopsis sp B after re-identification of Australian material, including CSIRO voucher specimen in Ho 2021. In Australia, known from E of Gold coast (27 55 S, 154 03 E), Qld south to off Gerringong (34 48 S, 151 14 E), NSW (including Lord Howe Rise) and from Scott Reef area (14 07 S, 122 06 E), NW of Cape Leveque (15 56 S, 120 36 E) and south to NW of Dampier Archipelago (18 52 S, 116 00 E), WA in 395-1197m depth.
