Taxon Notes: | Known to date from seagrass and macroalgae along the coasts of Victoria and South Australia. Specimens have been collected from Port Phillip, Corner inlet and along the east coast of Wilsons Promontory in Victoria, and along the coast of Normanville in South Australia. The type locality is a shallow seagrass bed (~2 meters depth) along the coast of Blairgowrie in the southern part of Port Phillip. Beyond these localities, underwater photographs also document the presence of this species in Western Port, Victoria, and from an offshore site of unknown depth in St. Vincent Gulf, South Australia. Known from 1-21m depth (Conway et al 2024). |
