Taxon Notes:Updated from Genus B sp [in Gomon et al, 1994] after description by Conway et al 2019. Only known from Botany Bay, NSW (34°00'S, 151°15'E), Sorrento, Vic (38°20'S, 144°45'E), and from the NW to NE coast of TAS from Granville Harbour (41°49'S, 145°01'E) to Coles Bay (42°07'S, 148°17'E). Most specimens collected from subtidal fields of macroalgae, 0–2 meters depth. (Conway et al 2019). A CSIRO specimen collected from Eaglehawk Neck, Tasman Peninsula (c. 43 S, 147 56 E) is likely this species (K. Conway, pers. comm. 2 April 2020).
