Taxon Notes:In Australia, known from a single non-type specimen collected off Broken Bay, NSW, 33° 30'S, 152°04'E in 922-1015 m. The locality data given for this non-type in the description (Ho et al 2019:225) as "FRV Soela, sta. So 2/82/43,45, 18°44’S, 117°02’E, 210 km north west of Port Hedland, Northwest Shelf, Eastern Indian Ocean, 396–406 m, Engel trawl, 13 Apr 1982, coll. J. Paxton & M. McGrouther." is incorrect. Elsewhere, known from Indonesia and the Philippines in c. 40-514m depth (Ho et al 2019).
