Taxon Notes:Genetic analysis suggests two species of Ipnops are present in Australia, although the names and their distributions are yet to be fully resolved, partly due to limited collecting in their deep water habitats (usually > 2000m). The other species, tentatively identified as Ipnops murray is coded as 37123014.
