| Taxon Notes: | ensis belongs to a group of adjectives with only two endings, ensis for masculine and feminine and ense for neuter. Ariosoma is a combination Ario and soma, with soma being a Greek noun for body and is neuter, and howense is the correct spelling (D. Hoese, Australian Faunal Directory, pers. comm. 5 April 2025). | ||||||
