Taxon Notes:	Originally described from Greenland, and widely recorded from the Arctic Ocean, North Sea and North Atlantic. Records from outside of this region are either accidental introductions or mis-identifications. Most (but not all) records of this species from Australian waters are incorrect, based on mis-identifications (see Meißner & Hutchings 2003).
