Taxon Notes:	This species is primarily known from the northern hemisphere. Some material from New Zealand previously identified as this species is now regarded as a separate species, Trypanedenta gemmipara. While Australian material is currently regarded as this species, it is likely that this material represents a distinct cryptic species.
