Description: To investigate the Cape Naturaliste eddy defined by satellite buoy India 1 and to criss-cross it with oceanographic stations, GEK, etd and release Satellite buoy India 2. Regretfully this entailed punching into a large swell having a 14-15 sec. period. After 36 hours of seasickness and accelerating malnutrition the cruise leader altered course, and India 2 was released on the fast flowing edge of a warm body of water further north.
