Description:
Biological oceanographic survey in relation to larval biology of western rock lobsters. To obtain a 24 hour sample series oriented to a drogued buoy in the northern study area and to obtain relevant hydrological data in order to study the diurnal vertical distribution of late stage phyllosoma larvae.
Effective programme included surface and sub-surface samples using 2.5 mm mesh nets, surface hydrology and met observations, thermograph streamed continiuously throughout cruise.
