Description: The WOCE Pacific Ocean Current Meter Array 3 (PCM3) was designed to estimate the volume transport of the East Australian Current near 30 deg S. The array crossed depths from approximately 95m on the continental shelf to 4590m, and was operative between November 1991 and March/April 1994. The array was deployed during Franklin voyage FR 10/91, serviced and redeployed during voyage FR 07/92 and recovered during during Franklin voyage FR 03/94. The array had a total of six moorings with 25 Aanderaa RCM current meters and 2 ADCPs. This is a collaborative project with the CSIRO Division of Oceanography (Chief Scientists M. Tomczak, FIAMS and J. Church / S. Wijffels, CSIRO).
