Description: The Maria Island Mooring was designed as a southern outlier deployed for the 1983 ACE (Australian Coastal Experiment) study. One mooring with 2 current meters was deployed in a water depth of 200 m. The meters were deployed in September 1983 and were recovered in April 1984.
