Description: Kimbla cruise K 1/73 was undertaken to collect seawater, zooplankton and sediment samples in approx. 3000+ m of water around the site of jarosite dumping by the EZ (Electrolytic Zinc) company off the south-east Tasmanian coast, for subsequent heavy metal analyses, accompanied by normal hydrological sampling for temperature, salinity, oxygen and nutrients.
