Description: Australian Antarctic Division Voyage 7.2 1989-90 (HIMS) was the maiden cruise of the Aurora Australis. The voyage took place between May and July 1990 from Hobart to Heard Island and back to Hobart. Underway, CTD and XBT data were collected during the voyage, as well as Fish, Phytoplankton and Zooplankton data from the vicinity of Heard Island. The principal scientific data from this voyage are held by the Australian Antarctic Division at Kingston, Tasmania.
